FASHION - Meet our new line everyone is talking about

Meet our beautiful NEW sustainable fashion brand Asha Eleven
ASHA or AšA (pronounced a-sha) // means 'life' in Arabic, it also means 'truth', 'right working' and 'existence'.
ELEVEN // a number (particularly in repetition 11:11) known to represent the opening of an energetic gateway. In numerology it signifies intuition, insight and enlightenment.

Together, each of these represent the polarities and duality between our physical presence and purpose on this Earth (very NB!) and spiritual awakening which often takes us off this Earth (also very ok!).

By its very nature, inspiration enters itself into its very own contagious and infinite cycle //

Asha : Eleven is inspired to design and create; we are inspired to work with amazing factories who care for those who work with them and with small social empowerment groups who have incredible skillsets.
We are inspired to reduce the negative impact we may have on our planet.
We are inspired by the stories we create and the stories we share.
We are inspired by you and we hope that we may inspire you too and together we continue the cycle of inspiration.
Founded by Olivia Kennaway in October 2018, Asha : Eleven is lucky enough to call Cape Town home. Olivia is Kenyan by birth and finds great inspiration working hands on with fellow African suppliers and artisans. Her trips back home to Kenya consist of connecting with local craftsmen and creating ways in which to incorporate their traditional skillsets into Asha : Eleven designs. This entire process inspires her to no end and is a core factor of the brands nature.

With ethics + sustainability as a driving force behind what we do, we believe that the future of the fashion industry is one where sustainability is the norm, where we will no longer need to talk about it, educate, drive for change - it simply is.

Our design ethos is simple; inspired and beautiful things to make you feel inspired and beautiful. We believe in timeless, trans-seasonal fashion which is made to last. We believe that less is more and with a few simple basics partnered with contrast statement pieces you can transform and recreate your wardrobe whilst reducing over-consumption and wastefulness.
