Asha Eleven

Kuruku meaning to jump and dance in Swahilli because this Kaftan invites just that. Roomy, floaty, flowy - all the comforts and feels of summer. The V front and back neck line is met with an outer facing tunnel detail with cords which are fixed at the back and feed through to the front; they can be left hanging loose as a design detail, or you can tie them up give the neck a bit of a lift. The gathered balloon sleeves feed off the end of the top section and are finished into an elasticated cuff. The body of the dress is full of volume and the length sits around the knee.

Designed + made in Cape Town in a factory full of love. What is love you say? Love is a comfortable working space, where needs are considered and met, where your employment looks to improve your quality of living and not simply sustain it, where you can laugh and play and look forward to your days work. And because we don't like to rush things, that love extends to each individual garment where the quality and finish is seen to with attention to detail and pride, making each piece stay with you for as long as possible. Love is life.
